"Dr. Metz has been my dentist for the past 2 years and I could not be more satisfied with his service and the service of his staff.
I have had 3 crowns placed with absolutely no problems. I have two more crowns to be done and I'm not dreading the procedure. Dr. Metz is very caring and explains everything he needs to do to complete the process. They have state of the art equipment and actually take photos of the problem tooth. The photo is then displayed on a computer screen to show the patient just why and how the procedure is done.

My introduction to Dr. Metz was through a referral to him by Dr. Allen S. Honigman, DDS, MS who performed the extraction of tooth #8 that had broken off and the insertion of the implant. I became a patient of Dr. Metz on 12/10/08. He performed the placement of the abutment and crown.
During the initial examination by Dr. Metz, he recommended that fillings on teeth 4, 12, 14, 29, and 31 be removed, decay material removed and crowns for each be attached. After testing for hot and cold sensitivity, he referred me to Dr. Nathan E. Baker, DMD for a root canal on #4. Dr. Baker did an outstanding job as tooth #4 had a very narrow root.
Dr. Metz completed all his work on the implant and the crowns on the teeth mentioned above from December through April. During the many visits with Dr. Metz, he and his staff performed in a very professional manner. What I appreciated the most is the way Dr. Metz explained every procedure in advance and, while performing each procedure, he told me what he was going to do and detailed every move while he performed the procedure. His dental assistants were very competent and worked in perfect harmony with Dr. Metz. His Dental Hygienist was the picture of perfection. She is a real professional. His office staff was very friendly and competent.
As of the date of this writing (May 14, 2009), I have had zero problems with any work performed by any of the Doctors mentioned.
